• CHIVAS REGAL

    12 YO BLENDED WHISKY

    SCOTLAND

HISTORY: It was at the beginning of the 19th Century that blending pioneers James and John Chivas, two brothers from Aberdeen in Scotland, first combined different matured whiskies to create a unique ‘house’ character. Blending some of the finest maturing malt and grain Scotch whiskies, James and John were able to achieve consistently good results, setting a standard that would be handed down through generations.

In 1909, Chivas Brothers made distilling history by creating the world’s first luxury Scotch whisky – a 25 year old blend called Chivas Regal. This sophisticated whisky has since become an international legend.

Today, the guardian of the exceptional quality and famously consistent character of Chivas Regal is Master Blender Colin Scott, who has been involved with Chivas Brothers for more than 30 years – 20 of them in his present role.

  • JOHN JAMESON

    BLENDED WHISKY

    IRELAND

HISTORY: John Jameson established his distillery in Dublin in 1780, determined to create the finest whiskey in the world. Over 230 years later, Jameson continues to be acclaimed all over the world for its exceptionally smooth taste.

The hallmark smoothness comes down to three factors; triple distillation, controlled maturation and masterly blending of the various whiskey components. These were the
key stipulations laid down by John Jameson, and to this day they are passionately adhered to at Midleton Distillery, thus making Jameson the world’s No. 1 Irish Whiskey. It can be enjoyed neat, with ice, or mixed in a long drink or cocktail.

    KNOW-HOW
Jameson Irish Whiskey is triple distilled to deliver twice the smoothness. But there is a little more to this precise craft: it is also about obtaining the perfect balance. First, the balance between the amount of malted and un-malted barley, in order to give a natural barley flavour. But it is also about mastering the proportions of triple distilled Pot Still Whiskeys and triple distilled Grain Whiskeys, in order to deliver exceptional smoothness. And lastly, it is about harmonizing the sweet, nutty flavour from Sherry casks with the toasted wood and vanilla notes from Bourbon casks.

Three wood maturation processes featuring virgin oak, for a taste experience that is both opulent and complex.

  • CANADIAN CLUB

    12 YO BLENDED WHISKY

    CANADA

Canadian Club was founded by Hiram Walker in 1858. Walker’s uniquely smooth whisky quickly gained popularity in the late 19th Century Gentlemen’s Clubs throughout the US and Canada and became known as “Club Whisky.” The popularity of “Club Whisky” caused American distillers to petition Walker and the US Government to add the word “Canada” to the name to make a clear distinction from competing American whiskies. The name was changed to Canadian Club® Whisky. The famous Whisky played a major role in history as the “unofficial” Whisky of Prohibition. Located just over the border in Windsor, Canada, Canadian Club was able to continue legally producing whisky between 1920 and 1933 when the sale of beverage alcohol was prohibited in the United States. It is rumored that CC quickly became a favorite of Al Capone who operated a lucrative business smuggling the spirit across the Detroit River to thirsty Americans.

For more than 150 years, Canadian Club has been known worldwide as smooth, versatile and easy to enjoy. Today, Canadian Club is served and enjoyed in more than 150 countries across the globe.
